The Papa WAS Project at Bass Day
On Detroit Bass Day, spoken word poets sponsored by the Papa Was Project told additional stories about fathers. The project continues to collect and post stories about fathers after the event, and the story collection is archived on the University of Michigan School of Social Work website. Detroit Public Television’s “One Detroit” interviewed Professor Rich Tolman and included readings from the Papa Was Project as part of their segment on Detroit Bass Day.
